2022 was another year full of landscaping and hardscaping innovation, new trends, and successful maintenance projects. As we look forward to 2023, we recap the past year while gearing up for the new year ahead.
2022 Recap
This year we informed our beloved customers about a variety of garden tips and tricks. From winter landscaping maintenance tips to our garden goods selection, we helped you choose all the right trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials that were just right for your yard and how to manage them throughout the year. Our favorite blog this year was our A Beginner’s Guide to Spring Gardening where we outlined the best flowers for first time growers including Sweet Pea, Pansies, and Lillies. As we move from 2022 to 2023, we’re excited to help new and returned customers with all their residential and commercial landscaping needs, new decorations, and more!
2023 Trends
In 2023 we’re focusing on architectural simplicity with elegant raised beds to help organize our landscaping better and keep everything in its place. From plentiful vegetable gardens to a nature-nurturing pollinator and bird friendly oasis, it’s important to keep all your plants working well together not only in aesthetics, but in functionality. If efficient functionality is your goal, try looking into plants that are resistant to poor water conditions and other extreme weather conditions. This will change on a case-by-case basis depending on where you’re located, your soil quality and makeup, as well as the usual or changing weather. Additionally, research has shown that the number one reason people are taking on an outdoor project is to create a space to relax and unwind which is promising for well designed hardscaping projects that offer functionalities such as fire pits, water features, and more.
