2022 was another year full of landscaping and hardscaping innovation, new trends, and successful maintenance projects. As we look forward to 2023, we recap the past year while gearing up for the new year ahead.
In 2023 we’re focusing on architectural simplicity with elegant raised beds to help organize our landscaping better and keep everything in its place. From plentiful vegetable gardens to a nature-nurturing pollinator and bird friendly oasis, it’s important to keep all your plants working well together not only in aesthetics, but in functionality. If efficient functionality is your goal, try looking into plants that are resistant to poor water conditions and other extreme weather conditions. This will change on a case-by-case basis depending on where you’re located, your soil quality and makeup, as well as the usual or changing weather. Additionally, research has shown that the number one reason people are taking on an outdoor project is to create a space to relax and unwind which is promising for well designed hardscaping projects that offer functionalities such as fire pits, water features, and more.
Thank you to all of our clients who supported us through 2022. From the Wojton’s Nursery team, we’re fortunate for your business and excited for what the new year will bring for us. From new landscaping and hardscaping designs to new plants and gift shop items that redefine your home, we’ll be there every step of the way.
